My wedding day, hands down. Saying "I do" to the man of my dreams, reciting our vows, celebrating with family and friends, having a great time. The briefest synopsis of my most favorite day, favorite memory. God I was so happy that day. WE were so happy that day.
You were such a beautiful bride ♥ ( I mean, you still are, I was just saying...)

ReplyDeleteOnly the physical is gone. That which we cherish most, our memories, remains. Your Marine is guarding you from Heaven now.
ReplyDeleteI have been catching up on your blog from the beginning for the past week-ish and I just wanted to tell you how incredibly inspiring and amazing you are. I havve laughed with you, cried with you, and now would really like to actually talk with you someday! haha
ReplyDeleteMy husband told me he wanted to join the Marines about a week ago so I started researching and reading up on things online. I found your blog and I couldn't stop reading it. My thoughts and prayers are with you everyday as I read about your journey.
This picture is beautiful!

ReplyDeleteReally moving and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I go back and read some of your older(ish) posts and I must say that this one got to me. I am thankful every day that my husband is still with me but I am what I call a hoarder of him. I know it sounds strange but I hang on to every little thing. Whether it be a card, a note, a little stuffed animal. The first thing he ever gave me was a necklace that I never take off. The jeweler once told me that I shouldnt wear it in the shower because I was causing wear on the chain... I told her she didnt understand. I know that I am not in your position but I am glad to know that I am not the only "husband hoarder" out there. I just love to have a little reminder of my one and only every where I go.
