I've Been Missing for a Few Days...

Cuz I was having a BABY!

Ariana Ralyn P.
Born Friday, January 15, 2010, 1:44am
6lbs 10.5oz, 19.25 in long
Today in her homecoming outfit. She's much happier when she's dressed.

I will update on the whole shebang soon, but right now I've got a checkbook to balance, laundry to do, and a yelling infant to cuddle with, soooo I'll be back!

PS It's pronounced AR-ee-ah-na. Not Air-ee-ah-na and not ANNA. Got it? Good. ;-)

  10. Congratulations! She is absolutely adorable. Welcome to motherhood, enjoy the laughter, tears, stress, and heartaches in the end it is worth every single moment when they look at you and say "I love you mom".

  13. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your birth experience with us. Ariana (I totally know what you mean about pronunciation, btw!) is so precious. I love her homecoming outfit. Keep up with the breastfeeding - if it hurts now, it really does get better once you both work out her latch. You're now a BF team, the two of you :) Funny enough, I have become sentimental in ways I never thought I would be now that I am a mom. If it strikes you to save something, save it! You never know when creative inspiration will strike once the exhaustion wears away...
